Information for Existing Ongas Customers

If you are an existing Ongas customer, you should receive an email advising you of your new ELGAS customer number and other details of the transition.

Here is a summary of the information of which you should be aware:

What’s Not Changing

  • The safe handling and delivery of LPG.
  • The driver/s that deliver to you.
  • Any contractual obligations.
  • The team that takes your enquiries.
  • Your Direct Debit authority

What is Changing

  • Your customer account number.
  • Communication: Emails and telephone numbers
  • Ordering process and payment methods
  • Invoices and Statements
  • • SuperGold card holders will receive a fixed $ discount instead of % discount. (Not applicable to commercial and bulk customers)
  • Credit Cards can now be used for your Direct Debit Payments
  • • ELGAS branding will progressively replace Ongas over the coming months

There may also be other changes for commercial, bulk, and metered customers
