Predictable Payments for Your Gas
ELGAS Budget Billing* is a convenient way to manage your LPG gas expenses throughout the year.
It eliminates the worry of fluctuating bills and helps you budget more effectively.
Here’s how it works:
- Your local ELGAS Customer Service team work with you to estimate your annual gas usage based on your past consumption or future projections
- We work out your estimated cost of LPG gas and divide this into 12 equal monthly installments
- You pay this fixed amount automatically from your nominated bank account or credit card on the 20th of each month (or the next business day)

Consistent monthly costs
Budget Billing smooths out any seasonal spikes in your gas usage (typically experienced during winter). You’ll pay an agreed amount each month throughout the year, making budgeting easier.
Automatic payments
The agreed monthly amount is automatically deducted from your nominated bank account or credit card. You won’t have to worry about missing a payment or keeping your account up to date.
Accurate and flexible
We will periodically review your account. If your actual usage differs from what was originally forecast and agreed, we will contact you to discuss decreasing or increasing your monthly payments accordingly.
Free service
Budget Billing is a complimentary service from ELGAS to help you manage your gas costs and budget. (Please check with your nominated financial institution as some Direct Debits may incur a fee).
No Lock-in
Budget Billing is easy to set up and easy to change, with no lock-in contract. If you wish to opt-out of Budget Billing at any time, please call your local ELGAS Team on 0800 435 427 to arrange.
